Spatec Academy has been well established since 2002. The Academy is one of the leading aesthetic, beauty and spa training institutes in Singapore, with more than 17 years of training experience in the Spa and Wellness Industry.

The market demands for the Spa and Beauty Industry have grown tremendously over years. As proof of the potential growth and high demand of this burgeoning sector, a 2010 survey revealed that more than 95 per cent of Singaporeans indulge in beauty treatments every month.With the change of the licensing laws for spa and beauty therapists in Singapore, the therapists in these specialised sectors have moved towards recognition and credibility to become well recognised professionals.

Spatec Academy currently offers over 40 professional certificates and diplomas in the areas of spa, body and beauty therapy. We work with various internationally-recognised and local professional spa and beauty institutions to conduct training and education courses in the spa and beauty industry and to equip and qualify students with various spa and beauty skill-sets, to administer the various spa and beauty therapies.

Spatec Academy will continue to be market-driven, offering new certificate and diploma courses to remain relevant to the industry needs and requirements. We constantly boost our international teaching pool of lecturers and instructors by recruiting more talented professionals, so that our students can benefit from this diverse exchange of knowledge and technical expertise.

Looking forward, Spatec Academy aims to provide graduate diploma and degree programs in the spa and beauty disciplines that are recognized internationally in the Asia-Pacific region and in Singapore. We also aim to extend our international outreach through working relations with professional and educational partners.

THE COMPANY WAS ESTABLISHED
  • The Academy was incorporated in February 2002.
  • Became an Approved College offering Diploma programmes from ITEC UK.

AWARDED 4-YEARS ENHANCED REGISTRATION FRAMEWORK STATUS

Registered with the Council for Private Education (CPE) Singapore and got awarded the 4 years registration under the Enhanced Registration Framework (ERF).

ACCREDITED AS AN ATO BY WDA SINGAPORE

Appointed as an Approved Training Organization (ATO) by the Workforce Development Agency (WDA) Singapore to offer Work Skills Qualification (WSQ) courses in Spa and Beauty Framework.

We were awarded the EduTrust (Provisional) Certification by CPE Singapore.

NEW LIFE SPA - A SOCIAL INITIATIVE BY SPATEC ACADEMY

With the Singapore Government promoting skills based training, we wanted to give our graduates who are senior citizens opportunities to get real life on-the-job experience upon graduation. New Life Spa was set up to fulfill this very purpose.
